Faget is located in southwestern Romania, in the contact area of the Lugoj hills with Lugoj Plain, on the river Bega, in the east of the Timis County ,at a distance of 98 km from Timisoara and 33 km from Lugoj, on the national road DN 68A. Same road connects Faget with Deva,which is at a distance of 68 km. The town is crossed by the railway Lugoj - Faget - Ilia.
